Destination Wedding?!?!?

I want to elope, but I don’t know where to begin. I live in the U.S., and I’d like to elope to Europe. I don’t really know where exactly, because I’ve never been there! Lol. I am NOT an island girl, and I do not want a beach wedding!!! I want to get married in December, and I love snow so it would be perfect if I could find a location that’s snowy in December. The wedding will be for just me and my fiance, but we want both a ceremony and a reception (Lol, basically a glorified dinner for two) for the two of us. I’m thinking of a beautiful castle or a romantic estate, but I have no idea where to begin. Please help!!! Thanks so much.

I think I can help you get want you want. I have extensive experience in tourism and planning weddings in Italy. There are so many beautiful estates, castles, etc., that we can find one of your dreams. And as another respondent said, Italy, from a logistical standpoint, is the easiest European country for foreigners to marry in (no residency requirements, no waiting period, just some documents to file that need to be properly in order).

Obviously if you are looking for snow, northern Italy has plenty of it but so do spots all over the country — due to its mountainous nature, Italy gets snow from Sicily to the Swiss border!
